By using the RFID-components of Rapahel-aktiv the caring staff gets informed in case a desoriented person leaves the building or the sorrounding garden.
Since the indoor usage of a GPS-device is often connected with difficulties to be located from the necessary satelites, the Raphael-dual makes use of the RFID-based transponder technology mentioned above.
In case an inhabitant leaves an area which is equipped with the Raphael-aktiv, the GPS-device gets switched on automatically while accessing the exit. The staff receives the information that the desoriented inhabitant left the facility and now can locate this person via a mobile phone, tablet or a personal computer.
For every inhabitant the staff can define geo zones, which can be devided into "safe" or "unsafe" areas accordingly to the individual skills of the person. Additionally, the alarming function can be adopted to local time - so a safe area at day time can be an unsafe area at night time.
The inhabitant "M" (equipped with Raphael-dual tracker) leaves the facility in order to go to the nearby village. The inhabitant "S" (solely equipped with Raphael-aktiv) likes to join. When M is about to leave the facility, the staff receives the information. When S is about to leave, the staff receives an alarm and reacts accordingly.
M is out for a walk in the inner town which is a very familiar area and therefore defined as a safe area. However, after a while M approaches a unsafe zone close to a nearby highway. Now the staff receives a text message or an email and someone can be send out to prevent him from something worse,.
When M is still in the inner town after 7 PM, the staff also receives an alarm, that M still did not recurred. Now a staff member can be send out to escort him back to the facility.
